This cacao, originally native to Ecuador, was brought to the Dominican Republic in the 1970s, and planted in clonal gardens. We are honored to be some of the first chocolate makers in the United States to access this rare, specially cultivated lot of nacional beans through our friends at Rizek Essentials.
Allergens: Our products are made in a facility that contains peanuts, tree nuts, milk, wheat, eggs, soy, and sesame. There may be cross-contamination due to shared equipment.
